  • Former chairman & honorary life president of West Ham United F.C. Terry has had a long and distinguished business career, culminating in the high profile position as Chair of West Ham United Football Club from 1993 to 2007. Following his departure from the football arena, Terry has supported local businesses and causes and became one of our fist patrons, following his sponsorship of our flagship hub in Canning Town, the space was renamed in his honour to The Terence Brown Arc.

  • Glyn is the Managing Director of Glyn Hopkin Ltd. Established in 1993 with Nissan in Romford, Glyn Hopkin has grown from strength to strength and is now one of the UK's largest and most successful automotive dealer groups. They now represent over 10 exciting brands with over 40 dealerships throughout London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire.​ Glyn has supported Kevin Jenkins for over 15 years with Community Links and is exceptionally proud and pleased to be able to support Ambition, Aspire, Achieve. Upon opening our second hub in 2018, it was named in his honour as the Glyn Hopkin Abbey Hub

  • Lyn has been the Member of Parliament for West Ham since 2005.  Lyn grew up and still lives in the constituency she now represents.  She attended Drew Road Primary School in Silvertown and Plashet Comprehensive School.  She went on to study English and Religion at what is now Roehampton University where she was elected President of the Student Union. From 1988 to her election to parliament Lyn served as a local councillor in Newham.  She also held posts in the Local Government Association, and what is now London Councils where she was instrumental in establishing the London Libraries Development Agency.  Now in her fifth term as MP for West Ham, Lyn has held a number of important roles including in the whips office and as Shadow Communities Minister and Shadow Fire Minister.  She is currently serving as Shadow Minster for Africa. She has campaigned for a Living Wage for all and for West Ham to receive inner city funding to deal with the inner city problems it faces. Lyn is proud to support Ambition, Aspire, Achieve with their important and exciting work supporting young people in Newham and across East London.​

  • Actor, Comedian and Writer Ricky Grover has been a close friend of Ambition Aspire Achieve since its inception in 2016. Ricky has starred in a number of British movies and TV shows including Red Dwarf, Eastenders, Porridge and Afterlife and is a regular on the UK stand-up circuit. Born and bred in Newham, Ricky is a passionate advocate of supporting children and young people in the local area, to reach their full potential.
