Who Are We?
Ambition Aspire Achieve (AAA) is a Newham-based charity dedicated to supporting children, young people and families, with a particular focus on those facing disadvantage, including individuals with disabilities and additional needs.
From our three community hubs – Terence Brown Arc, Glyn Hopkin Abbey Hub, and the Kevin Jenkins OBE Outdoor Learning Centre – we deliver a diverse range of high-quality programmes and services designed to meet the needs of our local community.
Through youth clubs, holiday activities, wellbeing support, outdoor learning, mentoring and family programmes, we provide safe spaces where children and young people can learn, grow and thrive. Our projects offer new experiences, trusted support and opportunities to build confidence, develop life skills, improve wellbeing and reach their full potential.
Our vision is for every child and young person to have the opportunity to lead a happy, healthy and successful future, regardless of their background or the challenges they face.
Our Founder
Founded in June 2016 by the late Kevin Jenkins OBE, Ambition Aspire Achieve stands as a testament to his 40+ years of experience in launching and managing initiatives for young people in Newham.
In 1976, Kevin co-founded Community Links—a charity dedicated to children and young people—and served as its Life President from 2016, before establishing Ambition Aspire Achieve. He also devoted over 25 years as a local Labour councillor, tirelessly working to support Newham residents.
His remarkable contributions were recognised with an OBE, a Beacon Award for community work, a long service award for his time as a councillor, and the Freedom of the London Borough of Newham.
Kevin dedicated his life to making a difference, leaving an enduring legacy of compassion and commitment.
Delivery
We deliver a wide range of high-quality projects and services from our three community hubs and across neighbourhoods throughout Newham, ensuring children, young people and families can access support where it is needed most.
Our programmes include after-school clubs, holiday activities, youth clubs, SEND-specific provision, wellbeing and mental health support, mentoring, detached youth work, outdoor learning, sports and physical activity, family support, residential experiences, volunteering opportunities, and employability and personal development programmes.
By providing safe, inclusive and inspiring environments, we help children and young people build confidence, develop new skills, improve their wellbeing and create brighter futures.

To provide children and young people in the London Borough of Newham and surrounding areas with fully inclusive experiences and opportunities to flourish. with support to help them overcome any challenges they experience, leading to positive outcome that make a difference and change lives.
Our Aims
To provide a wide range of interventions, support, and activities for children and young people, delivered through our neighbourhood play and youth hubs across Newham.
Through our outreach work, we actively engage the wider community, ensuring our impact reaches beyond our hubs. Our focus is on supporting those most in need, particularly young people facing complex challenges due to their family or personal circumstances.
