Green Mentor
Ambition Aspire Achieve has been successful in becoming a partner, along with 39 other organisations across the country, with The Ernest Cook Trust, to deliver the innovative Green Influencers Scheme in the London Borough of Newham. The scheme focuses on enabling and supporting youth social action on environmental issues.
We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and effective Green Mentor to develop and deliver the exciting scheme over the next 2 years, with Newham young people between the ages of 10 and 14 years old. You will recruit, support and oversee groups of Green Influencers across Newham who devise, develop and implement social action initiatives and projects.
Our Green Mentor will be joining a strong and successful organisation and delivery team with a commitment to, and a track record of, successful qualitative delivery that makes a difference, positively changing the lives of young people.

The role is full-time with a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 per annum (depending on prior experience and qualifications). - Motivating and encouraging young people to engage with their peers and others in the local community, and to lead on environmental action projects.
- Supporting and enabling young people to learn engagement techniques, project and budget management and project delivery skills, while making a difference to the environment and connecting with their local communities.
- Overseeing the development and delivery of the Green Mentors Scheme, ensuring that quality is paramount, high standards are maintained at all times and the best outcomes for all participating young people are delivered and achieved.
